Immerse yourself in a 3 night transformative experience over the winter solstice with Bianca Melas, a BHSc Naturopath and renowned Pilates Instructor. Indulge in twice daily Pilates, learning about the Lymphatic system, as well as gut health and hormone healing workshops.

If you haven't joined us on a retreat before, this is a genuine taste of State of Salt’s vision—to cultivate wellness practices that elevate and inspire you to live a life you love. We don’t preach or judge, everyone is welcome to experience the joy. 

What’s included

3 nights 4 days accommodation at Soma Byron Bay, spacious designer rooms w/ king sized beds, A/C, and ensuite bathrooms

Geodesic yoga dome with all props provided​

22 acres of forest with walking trails, a plethora of bamboo, native wildlife, majestic 200 year old fig tree with hanging beds, sculptural art, spring fed dam with outdoor seating and a zen garden

Outdoor fire pit for sunset gatherings​​​

Access to the custom-made infrared sauna, relieve any tension and experience ultimate wellbeing

Guided Ice baths

Breakfast, lunch, 3pm snack, dinner and dessert. All farm to table, organic, and served with insight from our local chefs who will educate us on seasonal eating and eating for joy

All rooms have king beds in premium, designer 30m2 spacious rooms with A/C and ensuite. PLEASE NOTE King bed does not split. If booking a shared room you must sign up with both of you, all costs are per person.


The Location

Nestled on 22 acres of rainforest in the hinterland of Byron Bay, Soma is a contemporary oasis purpose-built to serve as a sanctuary for retreats and immersive experiences with a goal to elevate creativity and consciousness. Only a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Byron yet feels like a sanctuary tucked in the hills away from civilisation. With the intention of creating a space to recharge your batteries, Soma has been mindfully designed with a modern yet warm aesthetic, allowing clarity externally for whatever space you need within. A variety of plant species, you can explore the forest, relax by the fresh water infinity pool, practice in the yoga dome, dip in the ice bath and sauna or simply read a book in the shared living area.

Bianca is a world renowned Pilates Instructor and Clinical Naturopath passionate about guiding individuals towards self-love and inner peace. Through Pilates instruction and natural medicine, she empowers clients to find their best selves, focusing on inner happiness rather than external validation. Her journey began with childhood dance and traditional Italian home remedies, fueling her desire to heal and transform lives. Bianca welcomes everyone to cultivate holistic well-being, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
